Poster Artwork Quality Guide

Congratulations! You’ve made the excellent decision to sell original posters through TeeChip and we are excited to work with you!

Quality Matters

As a TeeChip seller, you’re ready to start making money. Not only do you want new sales—sales from people who have never bought your items before—you’ll also want people to come back to your storefront for more.

One part of sales is providing the item that your customers want at the quality that they expect. If your product is subpar, you may get new sales, but you’re unlikely to have repeat customers. As reviews flow in, bad ones may deter new customers from buying your posters. It is hard to bounce back from a bad reputation.

To attract and retain customers, it is important to offer high-resolution posters with original, eye-catching designs.

Resolution and DPI Matter

Your posters are printed on our digital printers. The design file that you upload on TeeChip is printed exactly as given.

Poster resolution is measured in dots per inch, or the number of ink dots per square inch of print. The higher the dpi, the higher the resolution of your print. Higher resolution prints lead to crisper images and better quality posters.

As you can see in the photo above, there is a huge difference between low dpi and high dpi.

To have a poster print correctly, adhere to these specifications:

By adhering to these guidelines, your design will be printed at the appropriate resolution.
